On the 18th of November 2022, The Implementing Arrangement between the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the Ministry Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology of Japan (MEXT) concerning Cooperation on the Civil Lunar Gateway related to a Crew Opportunity, Habitaiton Capability Infrastructure Functions and Logistics Resupply has been signed by NASA Administrator Bill Nelson and Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan, Keiko Nagaoka.
